Lying on the table receiving Integral Bodywork™ for the first time was like being born.  I approached Alex because of back pain, even though I had never knew anything like this even existed.  Afterwards, I walked a little lighter, talked a little lighter, and felt a general sense of being high on life.  Just understanding postural problems from my first analysis was immensely helpful.  My back pain is no more.  The whole process has been additionally fantastic for healing my knees which doctors told me I would need surgery on before I was 40.  For anyone who has problems with their body or just wants to feel more alive, I got only one thing to say.  Do it!  You'll be happy you did.

More and more we are hearing in the news about the benefits of alternative medicine.  The idea of maximizing health instead of treating disease afterwards seems to be gaining wider acceptance.  Integral Bodywork™ has been an exceptional way for me to create better health and heal injury-related and chronic pain. The unusual aspect of Integral Bodywork™ is its holistic approach to opening and freeing the body and mind from old and new trauma. It looks at the body and mind as a whole entity and helps facilitate a client’s release from any of their stuck points, consistently helping to create change in the body and supporting the client in keeping that change. Often after a session, my body feels lighter, younger and more energized. I recommend Integral Bodywork™ for everyone. It’s a simple and effective way to go beyond your limitations and realize your true potential. Personally, I am a much happier and healthier person due in large part to this method. Words cannot describe the experience. Just go get Integral Bodywork™ and you will instantly see changes in yourself.

Gina Demos, ADTR
Founder and Director of The Dance Therapy Center

As a dance and movement psychotherapist for over 30 years, my focus has always been to help clients experience the body-felt sense of their feelings, problems and challenges. Now, experiencing Integral Bodywork™ for the past two years, I am developing the body-felt sense of my own body/soul, my beingness, and my self as part of the greater self. This experience is not easy to put into words, as I feel the practitioner is working with the "subtle" body of myself and mankind. This alchemical phenomena contributes to my growth as a practitioner and my clients are also receiving the benefit.

In addition, I have had some chronic intense physical pain, having occurred from dance injuries and the effect of my personality on my body over the past 67 years. The pain has been alleviated and in two areas of my body totally healed. The pain is now only a memory.

An unexpected benefit is the sense of released energy that is now more fully experienced. My body is thankful for an ever-increasing sense of its dynamic aliveness.

The concrete therapeutic benefits of Integral Bodywork™ are many - freedom from chronic pain and tension, the resolution of misalignments and aberrations in the body caused by past injuries and trauma, an overall greater sense of lightness and well-being, a deep feeling of calm, wholeness and balance - all of these can be experienced and realized by anyone willing to experience this work. It is undoubtedly a crucially valid therapeutic option for the treatment of specific physical complaints.

However useful that therapeutic option may be, though, there is more. I would strongly urge anyone wishing to deepen their personal and spiritual development to experience Integral Bodywork™. It is much more than simply a therapy: it is a tool for directly experiencing the functioning and relationship of your own body and mind. It can help you to experience yourself the seamless continuum between body, mind and environment. Integral Bodywork™ can be an aid to directly realizing the inherent wisdom and wholeness of which our bodies and minds are dynamic, living manifestations. In this sense, it is invaluable as a complement to many "paths" of wholistic or spiritual development.

Speaking as a Buddhist monk and long-time practitioner of martial arts, I would say that Integral Bodywork™ can be a useful method to help us realize and manifest the most deeply grounded and mature structures of our bodies and minds, which are our true potential. Though there are no short cuts, I would definitely say that my experience of Integral Bodywork™ has helped me to understand more easily and directly the intentions of my chosen disciplines - Zen and martial arts - and to more deeply experience my own training in those disciplines.
